Hope's Harvest is a natural foods grocery
and deli offering high-quality
items focusing on organically grown, locally produced, less processed and modestly packaged foods.
Our deli features
salads, sandwiches, smoothies, fair trade coffee & more, and we offer
Gluten-free wraps and sandwiches by request.
We offer a wide range of body care and health products, including vitamins and other nutritional supplements, as well as natural cleaning products, local gifts and artisan works.
Many of our foods can be purchased in bulk, to reduce waste and provide bigger savings.
We encourage sound ecological practices and promote recycling; you may bring your own bags and containers for the many items carried in bulk, or use containers we have on hand.
With experience gained from
15 years at the North Country Coop in Minneapolis and 10 years at Oak Center
General Store, in 2005 we opened our current location in Lake City, carrying on our tradition
at a beautiful store next to the Marina.
Our new store provides a more convenient shopping
location to serve the needs of the community, offering products for the varied lifestyles and tastes of our
customers.
Our new store also provides plentiful, easy parking.
We present our community with healthy choices and
education, while providing a marketplace for local producers who maintain a healthy environment through sound agricultural practices.
We believe organic agricultural practices grown without the use of chemical pesticides, fungicides and herbicides ensure the welfare of farmers, farm workers, the environment and customers, and is environmentally responsible and socially just.
Our store is open to everyone, although there are benefits to
volunteering.
We regularly offer in-store samplings and sponsor
outside events to expand our outreach, and whenever available we offer Fair Trade items to our consumers.
